The Renewed Hope People’s Empowerment Association (RHOPEA) has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to the United Kingdom as a positive step towards improving Nigeria’s economy.

In a statement jointly signed by Egbeda RHOPEA’s Co-ordinator Hon. Cyril Akintola and Director General of Media, Olawale Kunle, and made available to newsmen on Thursday, said the visit marks a new era of cooperation between Nigeria and the UK.

“The economy boost and innovation in Nigeria are a testament to the country’s potential,” the statement said.

The association commended King Charles III’s warm welcome and noted that it reflects Nigeria’s growing global influence.

RHOPEA pitched President Tinubu as a leader committed to Nigeria’s progress, despite opposition. “For the past 47 years, this kind of ties remained gloomy. Thank God Nigeria has a focused, hardworking and committed leader like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who despite ill-founding opposition continues to reconnect the country to greater economic and cultural source like the UK,” the statement read.

The association also appreciated Senator Remi Tinubu’s support, saying it contributed to the president’s achievements.

The group urged President Tinubu to build on the visit’s momentum to drive socio-economic growth and fulfill his “renewed hope” agenda.

Meanwhile, the association called on him to prioritize empowerment and support for youths, women, and the elderly through Renewed Hope People’s Empowerment Association in the thirty-six (36) states of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory, and 774 local government areas of the country
