The Customs Officers’ Wives Association (COWA), Oyo/Osun Chapter, has demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian service with a series of outreach visits to vulnerable groups in society.

In a statement made available by Customs’ Area Command’s Public Relations Officers, Abdulmalik Akintola on Thursday, it noted that the association’s leadership of Mrs. Omowunmi Adewole, visited the Ibadan Motherless Babies Home and the House of Providence Special School for Children with Intellectual Disability, with various items gifts presented.

Adewole expressed appreciation to the National President of COWA, Dr. Mrs. Adeniyi Kikelomo, for her guidance and support, emphasizing the importance of love, care, and inclusion for children in need.


The Association also extended support to widows of Customs officers, reaffirming the association’s commitment to the well-being of officers’ families.

However, the outreach visits were marked by goodwill messages and a renewed commitment to sustain humanitarian engagements, reflecting COWA’s values of discipline, respect, and selfless service.
