OYHA Aspirant, Oke- Mountain visits Oba Ghandi, promises restoration of democratic dividends

A staunch member of the African Democratic Party and 2027 Ogbomosho North House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Akinwale Oke-Mountain has stated his commitment to restoring due democratic dividends to the constituents.

The Ogbomosho born philanthropist said this during a courtesy visit to Soun of Ogbomosho’s Palace and an Iftar/ Empowerment Programme.

He lamented poor representation of the Ogbomosho North Constituents by Hon. Olubisi Michael in the 10th Assembly, saying this has further widened the progressive gap in the area.

The Ogbomosho-UK entrepreneur who noted the significance of Ramadan and Lenten on similtude in 2026 across the world, described it a pointer of grace particularly to Ogbomosho North Constituency as he hopes elected in 2027 General Elections.

The ex-Shooting Star player who paid a courtesy visit to the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Ghandi Laoye expressed his readiness to serve and bring more developmental projects to Ogbomosho North and entire Ogbomosho land if elected in 2027.

Oke-Mountain insisted that constituents called for his representation, describing it as a response of his widely felt empowerment programmes since 2020, particularly, when Covid-19 hit Nigeria and the entire World.

” I was driven to represent my Constituency in 2027 for an improved democratic dividends. Since 2020, there is no month, I will not empower young, women, pregnant women, widows and elderly with over 5,000 residents as beneficiaries. ”

” As we speak, I have commenced communities road building, donation of solar panelled lights, especially at Aaje in Ogbomosho, food empowerment, among others. I am a son of the soil, and that there is a need for me to continue my father’s political legacy. “, he said.

The widely travelled politician and entrepreneur added that he is ready to legislate on needed policies and plans affecting women, youths, and elderly in Ogbomosho land for shared prosperity for Ogbomosho land and Nigeria as a whole.

In his reaction, the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Ghandi Laoye lauded the spirit of the aspirant’s commitment to development, saying only the residents are eligible to put him to legislative representation through his capacity, development plan and sincerity.

He noted saying,’ Everyone is free to aspire but good works of him sell his representation and support by the people. We appreciate your concern for the development of Ogbomosholand, however, let your works speak for you. Do not relent in your consultation and empowerment only the people have the mandate to give to you,” he said.

Meanwhile, Oke-Mountain called the entire people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole to support the ADC for a true opposition and true democratic delivery in 2027.

The respected politician and entrepreneur was rallied by party members, wife, Mrs. Bola Sarah Oke-Mountain, elders and hundreds of constituents.
