A former APC Chieftain, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan has officially submitted his nomination form under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The respected medical practitioner cum politician submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Form for a gubernatorial ambition ahead of the forthcoming party primary and 2027 General Elections on Tuesday.

Adeduntan, known for professionalism, leadership capacity, and commitment to community development, continues to gain attention across political circles for his vision of inclusive growth and sustainable progress.

Recall, his defection from the All Progressives Congress has sparked widespread reactions among political stakeholders, supporters, and residents as he declared a gubernatorial ambition on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, which he described as a platform to liven his good plans for the Oyo State Citizens in 2027.

Speaking with journalists after the nomination form submission, Dr. Adeduntan said the submission of the nomination form marked genesis of readiness for a highly engaging, and impacting political journey.

He reiterated his optimism and confidence to bring fresh ideas, quality leadership, and developmental transformation in governance of Oyo State.

He said the state must shift from mere promising representation to fulfilling leadership from current Seyi Makinde led adminstration in Oyo State.

He condemned poor management of local government funds, and sectoral deficits, assuring of correcting the wrongs, if elected in 2027.

Meanwhile, the politician who vowed due sectoral transformation including the health, education, security and infrastructure, urged party faithful and leaders of the African Democratic Congress to anoint his candidacy for a yielding democratic leadership in Oyo State.
