The Oyo State All Progressives Congress has announced former deputy governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo as its new chairman.

The announcement came at its State Congress held at Liberty Stadium, Oke Ado Ibadan on headed by Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle on Tuesday.

Speaking, Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Folarin, Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal lawmaker, Hon. Akin Alabi and member representing Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Hon. Remi Oseni said the party adopted consensus to produce its state executive is a testament of fairness, equity and all-inclusiveness in the recent ward and local government congresses.

Meanwhile, the re-appointed publicity secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Sadare, Egbeda APC Chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye, 2027 Egbeda State Constituency Aspirant, Jide Falade, Hon. Muili and some other party faithful expressed the readiness of the party to return to governance in the state, saying unity, love and focus have fully returned to the party.

The Congress which was seamlessly peaceful and brief gathered leaders, past and serving public officer holders and party faithful from across the thirty-three (33) local government areas of the state.
