Tinubu Postpones Ogun Trip, Heads To Jos For 4-State Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has postponed his scheduled trip to Iperu, Ogun State, to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport, in order to visit Jos, Plateau State, and commiserate with the government and people over recent gun attacks that claimed innocent lives.

The President’s trip to Jos is part of a 4-state visit, which will also take him to Lagos, Ogun, and Bayelsa States.

In Lagos, he will observe Good Friday and commission infrastructure projects undertaken by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, including the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge and the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building.

On Saturday April 4, President Tinubu will travel to Ogun State to commission the Gateway International Cargo Airport and inaugurate two commercial aircraft, aimed at boosting the state’s economic growth; will also inaugurate the new edifice of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service.

The President will visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission Governor Duoye Diri’s completed projects before returning to Abuja.
