The Vice-Chancellor, Kola Daisi University, Ibadan, Prof. Olajumoke Morenikeji, has announced November 3, 2026 for the celebration of the 10th Anniversary and 6th Convocation Ceremony of the Institution.
At a commemorative logo unveiling programme held on Wednesday, Prof. Morenikeji noted that ten years of the Institution represents vision, commitment, learning, growth, resilience and impact exceeding mere passage of time.

She added that over the years of the establishment, many young people have received quality education, developed talents, acquired knowledge and skills for positive contribution to their respective societies.
“Today, KolaDaisi University stands as a testament to that vision. The achievement does not belong to a person or administration, but rather to our founder and visionaries who conceived this institution. It belongs to faculty and staff, administrators, past and returning students, parents, partners, friends and the wider Institution’s community,” she said.

The Vice-Chancellor added that the decade of experience has enabled a foundation for future greater distinction, deeper impact and global relevance. She assured of continued deepening of research and innovation for entrepreneurial and industry engagement without shifting from the student-centeredness focus.
“We want every student who passes through Kola Daisi University to leave not only with a certificate, but with competence, character, confidence and capacity to make a meaningful difference wherever they find themselves.”

“As Vice-Chancellor, I see the coming decades as an opportunity to build upon the solid work we have all built and to position Kola Daisi University as a truly globally competitive, research-driven and student-centered Institution through courage, collaboration, discipline and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”

Some of the dignitaries expected to grace the November 3 Convocation include the Pro-Chancellor and Founder of the Institution, Oba KolaDaisi, former two-term President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilorin and Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Prof. Isiaq Oloyede, among others.
