My intending representation not audio, physical- OYHA Aspirant, Hon. Olawoyin vows

A leading aspirant for Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin has vowed to deliver her legislative plans and policies beyond merely speaking.

The public administration expert and politician said this while engaging some selected news editors on Sunday in Ibadan.

Hon. Olawoyin said the aspiration is a response to popular demands by the Egbeda Constituents, particularly as she is the only trusted female aspirant since creation of the Local Government in 1989 and after 1992.

She highlighted her plans and policies including development backed legislations, varied empowerments for youths, women, elderly.

The popular APC chieftain, who hails from Ward 7 added that she has identified the need of the Constituency, and that only through her formal representation, she could transform the entire Constituents.

The University of Ibadan, and Covenant University Alumnus raised concern about growing destitutes in the areas without any address by the current PDP lawmaker, saying only a grassroots female lawmaker can feel the pains.

“It is an eyesore that beggars grow in number in our constituency. Alakia, Gbagi-Olaogun axis , others have turned a hub of destitutes. This is a representation of poor legislative representation. “, she said.

Hon. Olawoyin stated her readiness to renew the hope of the Egbeda State Constituency, vowing to empower youths, women, elderly, and destitutes for a better democratic development.

The philanthropist and respected politician who had travelled internationally noted that it is time for her transformative mission beyond speaking.

“Before now I have raised many out of school children in school of their choice. My foundation continues to empower youths, women, and elderly, with the belief if opportune to be elected, I will capture 200 destitutes every month”, she said.

While urging the leaders and members of the party to rally a support for her representation, Hon. Olawoyin called the Constituents to be wary of propaganda from various aspirants ahead of the forthcoming elections.

“Democracy has grown beyond hate and calumny contents by politicians against fellow aspirants. Let us wise up, greedy and malicious aspirants are all over the place. Deepen into their antecedents and possible future. We must not be webbed by mere word of mouths”, she said.

“I say emphatically the people of Egbeda deserve leaders who embody the spirit of sacrifice, experiences, empathy, selflessness”, she added.

Meanwhile, Hon. Olawoyin called Nigerians to massively vote for re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC intending candidates in Egbeda, Oyo State and across the country for a total socio-economic turnaround.
