The Ogbomosho North Constituents have called the national leadership of the African Democratic Congress to disregard the recently announced Bisi Ilaka factional candidate, Christopher Oladunni Gbadamosi instead of generally elected, Hon. Akin Oke-Mountain of Yinka Olona Oyo ADC Leadership.

The Constituents in their number protested against the trending factional candidate, describing the decision as misrepresentation of their choices.
Recall, Akin Oke- Mountain was announced unopposed candidate of the party at its Friday 20th May, 2026 Party Primary Election held at Agboin Primary School, Ogbomosho with mammoth constituents approving the representation of the grassroots politician.

In his reaction, Oyo State ADC State Chairman, Hon. Yinka Olona via phonecall to newsmen said
Akin Oke-Mountain is the authentic candidate.
He described Christopher Oladunni Gbadamosi as ‘destroyer’, and ‘a joker’ of democratic process.

The ADC chieftan assured Ogbomosho North and Oyo State ADC to disregard the candidature of Bisi Ilaka factional candidate, Christopher Oladunni Gbadamosi, challenging him to present record of his availability at the Friday’s Party Primary Election held at Agboin Primary School in Ogbomosho.

Meanwhile, the son of the prominent former Old Southwestern Ogbomosho born politician and ADC authentic Ogbomosho North Candidate, Akin Oke-Mountain urged the members of the party in Ogbomosho North State Constituency to remain calm, law abiding, assuring of due inclusive representation if elected in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections.

“I do not seek power at all cost, you demanded my representation for a due transformation of Ogbomosho North, and I heeded your call. I remain the authentic candidate for representation for I belong to the authentic home grown faction- Yinka Olona, never be moved. “, he said.
