Coalition of registered youth groups in Oyo pass vote of confidence on Makinde, Ogundoyin

A coalition of registered youth groups under the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has passed a vote of confidence in Governor Seyi Makinde and Speaker Debo Ogundoyin, praising their leadership and commitment to youth empowerment.

The youth groups, representing over 33 local government areas, commended Makinde’s administration for its achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development, saying it has transformed Oyo State into a model for good governance.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, the groups restated its unwavering commitment, deep support and loyalty to Seyi Makinde led administration saying,” We reaffirm our total loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and the leadership of the PDP, pledging to continue supporting the Governor’s vision of a prosperous and inclusive Oyo State.”

Meanwhile, the groups also lauded Ogundoyin’s legislative stability and collaboration with the Executive, saying it has driven progress in the state.

The vote of confidence was endorsed by prominent youth leaders, including Comrade Eniola O. Alex, State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria – Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, State Co-ordinator of the Coalition of Yoruba Youth Movement,

President, Oke ogun indigenous youths solidarity forum, Comr. Abdulfatai .A Olagbenro, Popoola Sola Owomide, State Co-ordinator of National Council for Isese Youth Organization, Association of Entertainment Stakeholders of Oyo State.; Chairman, Yoruba Youth Council (Oyo State) Oladimeji Ibrahim, and President
Federation of Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, Oyo State, Oyeleke Oyebode respectively.

However, the groups called the Oyo State government to focus on its good governance for every citizen of the state, and for a lasting legacy
