Coalition Demands Justice As Young Nigerian Killed In Delta State

By, Richard Adewale

The Coalition of Youth for Good Governance in Nigeria has condemned the killing of a young Nigerian in Delta State, describing it as a stark reminder of the growing disregard for human life in the country.

In a press statement signed by National Co-ordinator, Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, on Wednesday, the coalition called on the Federal Government to prioritize the protection of human lives and ensure justice is served, saying, “Every Nigerian life is sacred. No citizen should live in fear, and no family should have to endure the grief of losing a loved one due to preventable violence, negligence, or abuse of power.”

The coalition demands a thorough and independent investigation into the killing, prosecution of those responsible, and concrete measures to strengthen security and prevent further loss of innocent lives.

The group also urged Nigerian youths and citizens to stand united and demand better, saying “Our voices matter. Our lives matter. The time to act is now.”, the coalition noted.
