A PDP leading gubernatorial aspirant, Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has concluded the first phase of Back-to -School Initiative in Ibadan Zone.
The initiative which targets vulnerable pupils across the state was conceived passionately by the respected grassroots politician as a democratic dividends to young children in the wake of 3rd Term 2025/ 26 Academic Calendar in Oyo State, and Nigeria.

The benefitted primary schools in the first phase included St. John Basic School, Erunmu, St. Luke’s Demonstration Basic School, Molete, St. Brendan’s School I & II, Kumapayi, Olodo, Ibadan, HLA Special Basic School, Gate, Ibadan, IDC Primary School, Olunloyo I,II, III, IV, V and VI, IMG Basic Special School, Community Primary School, Sasa, Ibadan, and three others.
Distributed items are school uniforms, sandals, exercise books, socks and other educational materials.


In their various remarks, Mr. Abdullateef Adeleke of Head Teacher of IDC Primary school I, Olunloyo, and Mrs. Abigael Olayemi Ige described the initiative as a high level democratic dividend of reliefs to underprivileged pupils in Oyo State primary schools.

However, one of the special target pupils at IMG Special Basic School, Sharp Corner, Ibadan, Emmanuel Ajayi requested for educational scholarship for a turnaround and better future societal contribution.
As parents, pupils and school heads commended the initiative, analysts have called the aspiring gubernatorial aspirant never to relax the education support, saying through the initiative Nigerian society will be free from growing insecurity concern and other criminality tendencies.
Meanwhile, the chief co-ordinator, “Catch Them Young Initiative”, Mrs. Ayodeni Aluko appreciated Hon. Ajadi Oguntoyinbo for trusting her initiative for partnership, assuring of continued fairly distribution of resources received for donation by every donor.

Recall, Ajadi has assured of extending the Back to School Initiative to other zones of the state in the coming weeks.
