A leading APC Aspirant for Oyo State House of Assembly, Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin has been cleared for Wednesday 20th May, 2026 Party Primary Election’s formal participation.
The Unibadan and Covenant University Alumnus who thoroughly was screened alongside Hon. Jide Falade and Hon. Bernard Olurinde, who are also two other aspirants from Egbeda State Constituency by the 5-man Screening Committee led by former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Taofiq AbdusSalam, on Tuesday.
The gender equality advocate picked the Nomination form on Monday 4th May, 2026, being the deadline for the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the Oyo State APC State Secretariat as a core readiness to serve the Egbeda State Constituency with passion and inclusive democratic representation for a historic transformation for youths, men, women, PWDs and the elderly.

Addressing the newsmen after the screening exercise, Hon. Olawoyin commended the continued support of the leaders, party members, support groups, including the Avant Garde, Aare Movement, Omolere Vanguard, others, describing the feat as ” snowball of loyalty and support of Egbeda Residents thus far”.
She reaffirmed her readiness to deliver the State Constituency from representation backwardness, saying her intending representation will yield democratic dividends in empowerment, projects facilitation and inclusively development backed legislations for the youths, men, women, Persons With Disability, and the elderly.
Hon. Olawoyin called for core support of her candidacy emergence at the Wednesday 20th May, 2026 Primary Election, as to liven her long impregnated plans and policies through legislative representation in 2027 for Egbeda State Constituency.
The leading Egbeda OYHA Aspirant disregarded a “do or die” aspiration owing to her continued confident political move-on despite the political rough roads.
She added that her political experiences as political aide in Lagos State, and as well a grassroots mobilizer across the South Western States and Nigeria as a whole.
She insisted that her intending representation will help to echo the voices of the Women and position the Constituency, competitively at the Oyo State House of Assembly as the Ibadan North and Ogbomosho North, who have consistently retained the seats for their women, with unimaginable performances until now.

“We must not miss this time in Egbeda to send me for a representation. The chart of legislative progress for Egbeda is with me, please, send me. Here I am to deliver unimaginably democratically. “, she said.
Recall, the Oyo State All Progressives Congress leadership by former deputy governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, by spokesperson, Wasiu Sadare as made available to newsmen on Monday, vowed a free, fair and credible direct primaries for its candidates to emerge among a population of aspirants.
