A staunch advocate for equal representation in Ogun State and Nigeria, Senator Iyabode Anisulowo, has reiterated her commitment to redressing the imbalance in the state’s political landscape.

Speaking at a media briefing at Penpushing, Abeokuta on Saturday,ย Sen. Anisulowo, who has held various positions including Secretary to Local Government, Minister of State for Education, and Ogun West Senator, said the people of Yewaland/Awori have been shortchanged since the creation of the state.

She emphasized that the time has come for political gladiators of Yewa origin to close ranks and work towards achieving equal representation.
Anisulowo announced that she will be launching a book titled “My Story of Grace and Grits” as part of her 75th birthday celebration on March 21st in Ilaro.

The equality advocate senator attributed her success to hard work, resourcefulness, and the grace of God, and expressed gratitude to her people for their love and support.
Recall, Anisulowo’s call for equal representation has been a recurring theme in her political career, and a rallying cry for her people to unite and demand their rights in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections.
