Senator Yunus Akintunde, the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, has extended his benevolence to several constituents and party faithful during the ongoing Ramadan and Lenten fasting periods.

Several constituents, party leaders, traditional and community leaders, as well as religious groups, benefited from the distribution of food items, confectioneries, and financial support provided by Senator Yunus Akintunde. The distribution exercise was supervised by his Special Assistants and Liaison Officers across the Senatorial District to ensure that the items reached the intended beneficiaries.

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by Special Assiatant on Media and Publicity to Oyo Central Senator, Hon. Kunle Olatunji on Wednesday, the statement noted that the various gifts were distributed across the eleven Local Government Areas within the Senatorial District, as well as to party leadership and members across Oyo State.

The gesture was received with great enthusiasm, as beneficiaries expressed appreciation and offered prayers for Senator Yunus Akintunde in recognition of his generosity and continued support for the people.

Among the beneficiaries were members of the League of Imams and Alfas, the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Traditional Council of Baales, party leaders, and numerous constituents within the Senatorial District, all of whom commended the Senator for his benevolence and commitment to the welfare of the people.

The beneficiaries described the gesture as timely and thoughtful, especially during the sacred periods of fasting and spiritual reflection observed by Muslims and Christians.
