Member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Works, Hon. Akin Alabi, has donated an electric transformer and N1 million support fund to Ifedapo Temidire Community in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The federal lawmaker, who was represented by the Director General of his Campaign Organization, Hon. Adebowale Amoo, JP, said the donation was in fulfilment of his pledge to bring democratic dividends to the constituency.

Speaking at the commissioning, Amoo commended residents for their resilience and consistent support since 2019. He added that the intervention was part of Alabi’s commitment to improving electricity supply and infrastructure across Egbeda and Ona Ara.

“All I will say is that we should protect this infrastructure for shared prosperity. Electricity is now more stable across Nigeria. We must continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in actualizing the Renewed Hope Agenda. Let us keep away from vandalism. This federal constituency can only develop when we work in synergy. I promise more legislative and developmental projects,” he said.

Alabi also presented N1 million as palliative support for further community development.

Community leaders and residents who turned out in large numbers expressed appreciation, saying the gesture would boost safety, socio-economic activities and renew hope in both President Tinubu and Alabi’s representation.

“This gesture is timely and impactful,” they said.
