A leading aspirant for Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin has hailed the successful APC National Convention as a signal of the country’s stability.
Olawoyin commended the planning committee, led by Senator Aminu Masari and Ayim Pius Ayim, for a “seamless classic party convention”.
She noted that the consensus arrangement, which saw Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and Ajibola Bashiru return as national chairman and secretary, showcased the party’s maturity and unity.
“The convention has clearly shown opposition parties that APC has the structural pattern to greatness in Nigeria,” Olawoyin said.
The Public Administration expert credited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration with transforming the country through initiatives like tax reforms, improved road infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
The gender equality advocate urged party members to translate the peaceful process into the nominations and primaries as to position the APC for a landslide victory in 2027 General Elections.
Meanwhile, APC politician reiterated her readiness to serve Egbeda State Constituency, advocating for a 35 percent Reservation Seat Bill for Women for a due democratic development.
