The National Association of Polytechnic Students, NAPS, has announced the election of the pioneer Executive Council of its Oyo State Liaison Council, SLC.
In a statement issued by the national leadership, NAPS said the election, conducted through the Oyo State Stakeholders’ Forum, marks a new chapter in the co-ordination and representation of polytechnic students in the state.

The association described the inauguration of the SLC as part of efforts to strengthen institutional structures, promote unity, and ensure effective engagement with government and school authorities.
NAPS congratulated the newly elected officers and charged them to uphold the core values of the association — integrity, patriotism, discipline, inclusiveness and purposeful unionism.
The national body expressed confidence that the pioneer executives would lay a solid foundation for the council and champion the welfare, academic excellence and peaceful coexistence of polytechnic students across Oyo State.

It called on students, Student Union Governments and stakeholders to support the new leadership.
The elected officials are

2. Comrade Bolarinwa Clement – Vice Chairman
3. Comrade Muyideen Abeeb Ahmed – General Secretary
4. Comrade Ganiyu Hammed – Public Relations Officer
5. Comrade Ojebiyi Tomisin – Financial Secretary
6. Comrade Oyedare Omowunmi Titilayo – Assistant General Secretary
7. Comrade Mufutau Habeeb Gbolahan- Treasurer
8. Comrade Alfred Judith Oluwakemi – Director of Gender
