A media and support group of the All Progressives Congress, Avant Garde , has felicitated the member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akin Alabi on a third term ticket wining ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The group made the release after its May 17, 2026 Critical Meeting held at Local Government Party House, Iwo Road, Ibadan, describing the feat well deserved.

The release, unanimously signed by all members and Tayo Olatunji led Executive of the group, noted that the lawmaker has clearly positively sold the federal Constituency to the nation.

The group noted that the ticket wining for third term representation is a testament to an unwavering dedication, loyalty and quest to develop the Federal Constituency of Hon. Akin Alabi.

The Avant Garde commended the confidence the long aspiring federal lawmaker and respected philanthropist, Hon. Akinola Akinjide has in stepping down amidst the concluded party primary election, describing his decision,” Wisest for a healthy democracy.”

The group urged the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress to duly compensate him for his continued dedication, loyalty and democratic performance in 2027 as a bait of emulation for young politicians in Nigeria.

While congratulating Hon. Akin Alabi for clinching baton of representation of the party ahead of the 2027 General Elections, the Avant Garde called him to be more focused in his democratic representation, working with all other aspirants, and support groups, especially the Avant Garde for a more enduring legacy beyond 2031.
