The Air Component of Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI has successfully conducted a precision air strike on a terrorist enclave and logistics hub in Jilli, Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State.

The strike, executed on Saturday followed sustained intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions over the Bindul-Jilli axis, a known terrorist movement corridor.

Multiple reports confirmed ISWAP gun trucks and motorcycles moving along the axis, are seen converging on the location.

 

Post-strike assessment confirmed the target area was struck with high accuracy, resulting in the destruction of the enclave.

Scores of terrorists were neutralized, with their vehicles and technicals destroyed.

 

The strike disrupted imminent terrorist plans and degraded their operational capability, while a logistics courier, “assistant Turja Bulu”, was arrested and confessed to participating in an attack on Benisheik and receiving logistics from Jilli.

 

Meanwhile, the Joint Task Force has insisted that the use of motorcycles remains prohibited in Borno and Yobe States due to terrorist activity.
