APC aspirant for Oyo State House of Assembly for Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin has welcomed the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Oyo State, saying her visit signals the party’s readiness to reclaim governance in 2027.

In a statement issued by Special Assistant on Media, Communications and Publicity, Olawale Kunle, and made available to newsmen on Sunday, Olawoyin commended the First Lady’s support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s socio-economic policies, describing her as “a woman of substance, source and wisdom needed for progressive women society”.

She said the visit, which has generated excitement across the state, is a signal for APC’s total governance reclaim in Oyo State in the forthcoming general elections.

“The state is eagerly waiting for a signal to prepare for victory in 2027 from the First Lady,” Olawoyin said, adding that only APC can lead Oyo State and Nigeria to prosperity.

She highlighted the progress made under President Tinubu’s administration, including fuel stability, power progress, and security improvement.

Olawoyin urged party members and citizens to remain civil during the visit calling on security operatives to provide adequate protection.
