A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egbeda Local Government and State Auditor of the Yari Initiative for Asiwaju, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin, has felicitated Chief Wasiu Ajimobi, elder brother of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, on his installation as the Aare Alasa Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen through his Special Assistant on Media, Public Communications and Publicity, Olawale Kunle, Olawoyin described the new Ibadan chief as a rare pillar of peace, philanthropy and social development.
According to her, Chief Ajimobi has, for years, consistently advanced the cause of Ibadanland, noting that many developmental strides recorded during past administrations are linked to him.
The grassroots mobilizer said the new chieftaincy elevation is a testament to his progressive-mindedness in humanity, industrialization, economy and socio-politics.

Olawoyin described Chief Ajimobi as a core philanthropist, successful businessman, mentor and a man worthy of emulation by both young and old.
While praying for greater heights, wealth and wisdom for the new Aare Alasa Olubadan, she urged him not to relent in his efforts at advancing the peace, economy and progress of Ibadanland for more historic legacies.
“This is a well-deserved chieftaincy elevation. We pray God continue to journey with you. Congratulations, sir,” Olawoyin said. “
