An aspirant for Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin, has described Hon. Shakirat Adetunji, aspirant for Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, as “an icon of the Federal Constituency.”

In a birthday message signed by Olawale Kunle, Special Assistant on Media, Communications, and Publicity, on Monday, Hon. Olawoyin said the aspiring federal lawmaker has nurtured talents and supported the less privileged in the constituency, describing the impact as unprecedented.

She said Hon. Adetunji’s work is gradually closing gaps between the rich and the vulnerable.

Hon. Olawoyin added that the aspiring lawmaker is a goal-getter and social-gap bridger, whose impact has made her a household name.

“No constituent takes Hon. ASHAD for granted. She understands the needs of her constituents irrespective of class and gender. A household name for all,” she said.

The UI and Covenant University alumna, who applauded Hon. Adetunji’s political and social strides, urged constituents to continue rallying support for greater democratic representation.

Hon. Olawoyin also wished her long life and prosperity, and called on Egbeda constituents to remain optimistic of prosperous, inclusive representation if she is elected in 2027.
