Lord’s Banner Schools, Ibadan, will hold its 15th Graduation and Thanksgiving Service on Friday, August 7, 2026 at its permanent site on Amero-Ogungbagbe Road in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Founder, Pastor Titus Ogunleke, said the event will celebrate God’s sustenance over 14 years of growth, from three pupils to a full secondary school.

Speaking at a pre-event press conference on Tuesday, Ogunleke described the journey as “tiring but rewarding.” He said poor fee payment created debts for almost 12 years, forcing the school to rely on external loans to stay afloat. “Determination, resoluteness and focus kept us going,” he said.

“Regardless of your financial capacity, make sure your children get formal education. Education may be expensive, but let your children buy into it.”, he added.

Ogunleke urged parents to nurture their wards, and called on government to create friendlier policies to ease business for educators.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for the rescue of abducted persons in Oriire, calling for a stronger Safe School Initiative.

He charged graduating pupils and students to be good ambassadors of the school through dedication and good character. “I am confident that you will rule your future,” he said.

The management expects parents, alumni, and dignitaries at the thanksgiving service.
