Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has distributed official vehicles to emirs and district heads as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots governance and community engagement.
The distribution, which included 14 GMC saloon cars, Toyota buses, Hilux vehicles, and 114 Toyota Camry cars, was made at the Government House.
Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of working closely with traditional rulers to promote peace, stability, and prosperity, urging them to remain non-partisan and uphold integrity.

Earlier, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Isa Babayo Tilde, reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to collaborating with traditional institutions.
However, Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, expressed appreciation to the governor and pledged judicious use of the vehicles.
