APC Egbeda Congress: Olaleye led executive returns, pledges ground gaining of Renewed Hope Agenda ahead 2027

The Chairman of Egbeda Local Government All Progressives Congress, Comrade Olawale Olaleye has pledged full ground gaining of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
He stated this after long session of the local government congress witnessed by Independent National Electoral Commission officials, The Nigeria Police, operatives of the Department of State Service and Nigeria Security and Defence Corps held at APC House, Iwo Road, Ibadan on Saturday.

Addressing the newsmen, Comrade Olaleye expressed his delight and overbound joy for returning as the party chairman in Egbeda for the second term through a harmonized arrangement, crediting the overwhelming efforts of the leaders and party faithful in the congress for its seamlessness.

The professional accountant and grassroots leader added that his returning to office will ensure fuller accomplishment of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections.

“The fundamental plan I have ahead of me is to implement and ensure that the 2027 Renewed Hope Agenda is accomplished. Now that the people have given me the leverage and the platform to perform;I want to say here now, I will not disappoint them”, he said.
Emphasizing the need for unity, love and progress in the party, Olaleye appealed to yet aggrieved members to put the past behind them as to enable all round progress in the party, particularly in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State.
” I am very grateful though the whole process was earlier disrupted or halted in a way, but at the end of the day, we were able to have a harmonized thought that produced me as the chairman for Egbeda Local Government APC. I want the aggrieved to join hands with me as to move both the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency forward as a whole, now that a consensus candidate has emerged, the aggrieved should sheathe their swords”, he said.

In his contribution, former local government chairman in Egbeda, Hon. Ademola Adeoye described the consensus too inclusive, transparent and fair. He said that the party’s adopted consensus arrangement was an agreement of the leaders in Egbeda that produced the available twenty-seven (27) positions in the local government executive office.

“According to consensus, the entire party leaders gave honour to Baba Suraju Elegbeda, the most senior to nominate the Vice-chairman; Women Leadership was conceded to second term serving federal honourable, Akin Alabi to produce, while other executive membership was distributed accordingly”, he said.
The grassroots leader while calling for peace and harmony among the members, urged the victorious executive to remain law abiding and bid the needs of the party in the build up and after the 2027 General Elections.
