APC Avant Garde felicitates Olaleye LG consensus executive, elects three new group executive members

The Avant Garde support group of the All Progressive Congress has congratulated the Olawale Olaleye consensus executive for the Party’s Egbeda Local Government for the next four years.

In a statement signed by Hon. Tayo Olatunji, chairman of the group and made available to newsmen on Sunday, the group described the local government congress as all inclusive, fair and credible, saying the arrangement is a pointer to a true democratic growth in the area.

The group noted that the process, though competitive, saved the party from recording unnecessary chaos, and disorderliness all through the congress.

While crediting the seamless efforts of the leaders in adopting consensus candidacy, the group said the process swept aside favouritism, disunity and undue influence.

The Avant Garde added that the triumphed candidates should imbibe commitment, dedication, selflessness and service, saying only destiny came to being in such an arrangement.

“Obviously, the consensus arrangement in Egbeda Local Government saved the party from undue chaos, disunity and favouritism. This will make the triumphed to remain dedicated, committed, selfless and dutiful, knowing fully well that only the destiny spoke and not performance.”, the statement noted.

Recall, the consensus executive in Egbeda APC are Comrade Olawale Olaleye(Chairman), Comrade Jelili kekere (Vice-chairman),  Hon. Muili Saheed Omolayo  (Secretary), Hon. Adedeji Ronke (Women Leader) and others who will oversee the affairs of the party in Egbeda local government for the next four(4) years.

Urging the new local government executive to implement the essence of Renewed Hope Agenda and way out to landslide victory for the APC in 2027 from top to the bottom, the support group called party members to remain united, co-operate with the returning executives for a hitch free and all round victory in the forthcoming general elections”, the statement added.

Similarly, the group charged her newly elected vice chairman, Hon. Rasaq Akinrinade , Assistant Secretary, Comrade Sulaimon Lawal and Treasurer, Comrade Sunmbo Akande to bid the needs of the APC mandate, and particularly needed growth and development of the group before, during and after the 2027 General Elections.

” See these offices as a table of challenge, new discovery and performance. We need you on board to support and advise the group towards unhindered influence, growth, development and opportunities. Join the force to implement good plans, policies, and programmes for the support group and the entire All Progressives Congress in Egbeda, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole”, it noted.

Meanwhile, the group prayed for wisdom, knowledge and understanding for all the victorious ward, local government and group’s executives, saying this will background their positive performance across the area.
