A media and support group of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Avant Garde, has described the second term election of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as a reflection of the evolving transparency of the Independent National Electoral Commission under Professor Joash Amupitan and the yielding development of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory statement signed and made available to newsmen on Sunday by its Chairman, Tayo Olatunji, and Public Relations Officer, Isiaka Kabiru, the group credited the victory to the credible national administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group noted that the re-elected governor has characterized good character, respect, and dedication to national development in his leadership stance over the last four years.
It commended the trust Osun voters further reposed in INEC under Prof. Joash Amupitan’s leadership, and particularly the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for evolving transparency and the yielding Renewed Hope Development Agenda.
” Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has consistently enabled thriving of opposition parties, with due transparency of Independent National Electoral Commission since 2023. A great deal for Nigeria!”, the group said.

Avant Garde urged the APC in Osun to reset its approach to winning elections ahead of 2030, noting that preparation should begin from the announcement of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s second term in office to avoid late moves.
The group credited the party for coming second in the 2026 governorship poll despite continued allegations of violence and other misconducts among political actors in Osun State during the pre-election period.

Meanwhile, the group called on the re-elected governor to sit up and deliver improved democratic values to Osun State for a lasting legacy.
It said the governor should caution his party members against making comments that fuel fear, intimidation, and grievance in order to avoid governance distractions.
The group also urged him to deliver the state for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 as a show of solidarity for core Southwesterner support in the 2027 presidential candidacy for the true development of the region.
