A Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Interfaith Affairs, Rev. Femi Ibikunle, has extended Easter greetings to Christians in Oyo State, Nigeria, and worldwide.
The respected preacher-turned-politician noted that Jesus Christ’s death was not in vain, saying his sacrificial life has brought global peace.

added that Easter highlights agape love, humility, dedication, and focus, urging Nigerians to imbibe these values to overcome life’s challenges.
“The message of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection is highly relevant as our country faces social and economic challenges,” he said.
Rev. Ibikunle urged Christians, religious, and political leaders to promote dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect among faith communities to address Nigeria’s insecurity issues, assuring residents of the Seyi Makinde administration’s commitment to inclusiveness, religious balance, fairness, equity, and justice.
He called on residents to pray for Governor Seyi Makinde as he strives to deliver good governance amidst socio-economic challenges.
However, Rev. Ibikunle also urged Nigerians to remain optimistic in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, working towards unity and victory over security and economic concerns.
