The appointment is part of the ongoing restructuring efforts within the Force under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu.

“CSP Giwa is an exceptionally brilliant and capable voice,” said a senior police officer.

“He has the intelligence, composure, and strategic thinking required to represent the Force effectively.”

CSP Giwa holds a Bachelor of Scienc(Bsc.) in Physics from the University of Maiduguri and has international certifications in cybersecurity, including Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

The new FPRO is expected to enhance the Force’s communication strategy and improve public trust.

“We are excited to have CSP Giwa on board,” said IGP Disu. “He is a true asset to the Force, and we are confident that he will excel in his new role.”

CSP Giwa’s appointment has been welcomed by colleagues, who praise his professionalism and expertise.

At 40, CSP Giwa represents a new generation of highly educated, technologically aware, and strategically minded police leadership.

Recall, the Nigeria Police Force has been undergoing reforms aimed at improving its effectiveness in addressing security challenges in the country, and CSP Giwa’s appointment is seen as a significant step in the right direction since assumption of IGP Tunji Disu.
