A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin, has congratulated the Aare Onibon of Ibadanland, Hon. Akin Alabi, and Hon. Bernard Olurinde on their official nomination as candidates for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo State House of Assembly, Egbeda State Constituency respectively ahead of the general elections.

In a statement issued by her Special Assistant on Media, Communications and Publicity, Olawale Kunle, on Saturday, Hon. Olawoyin described the nomination as a new political feat and a reflection of the great expectations of constituents.

She added that the nominations have further highlighted the reward of continued good and competitive representation in Egbeda and the Federal Constituency as a whole.

The 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant, who declared genuine support for the official candidates, urged all party leaders, support groups, and members to work harmoniously for a historic outing in the forthcoming elections.

The public administration professional noted that Egbeda constituents are blessed to have competent candidates, saying this will help to deliver more developmental and inclusive representation.

Meanwhile, Hon. Olawoyin urged the candidates to deliver beyond expectations for broader democratic representation within the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Renewed Hope Agenda beyond 2027.
