The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, has accepted the outcome of the August 15, 2026 governorship election and urged party members to remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In an address to party leaders, members and supporters on Wednesday, Oyebamiji expressed gratitude for their sacrifices and support throughout the campaign.
“I am deeply grateful to every one of you who stood by our aspiration. Your sacrifices, resilience, prayers and unwavering belief in our Prosperity Agenda will remain indelible in my heart,” he said.
He appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; former interim National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, CFR; and former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, for their guidance and commitment to the party and the state.


While congratulating the winner, Oyebamiji condemned the violence that marred the poll and mourned those who lost their lives. He called on security agencies to investigate and prosecute those responsible.
“No political contest should cost any Nigerian their life,” he said. “Where there are legitimate concerns, we will continue to seek justice and fairness through lawful and constitutional means.”
He urged supporters not to be discouraged, but to remain calm, united and resolute.
Looking ahead to 2027, Oyebamiji called on APC members to close ranks and strengthen party structures. “Our immediate responsibility is to mobilise for the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the success of all our candidates in Osun State,” he said.

“Our journey continues. The Prosperity Agenda remains alive, and our dream of a greater Osun remains unwavering,” he added.
