The Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Oyo State Chapter, Mr. Goke Adelakun, has described the demise of Oloye Lekan Alabi as a monumental loss to the public relations family.
In a statement, Adelakun noted that Alabi’s passing was a shock, especially with his expertise needed for the World Public Relations Forum in Abuja this November.
He recalled Alabi’s invaluable services as a core reporter, General Manager, Corporate Affairs at Odua Investment Company Limited, and Chief Press Secretary to four governors, saying his legacies will be hard to surpass.
Adelakun acknowledged Alabi’s roles in NIPR’s growth and noted he made professionalism, excellence, and value addition his hallmark.
The NIPR chairman commiserated with Alabi’s family, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, NUJ, Oyo State people, and the NIPR family, praying for Alabi’s soul to rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
