The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Hon. Akin John Oke-Mountain, has picked his nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Friends, family members and party faithful gathered on Thursday to celebrate the Nigerian-British engineer over the political milestone.

Speaking at the event, the Ogbomoso North ADC candidate commended party members for their focus, determination and dedication, describing the development as a great feat for the party and the constituency.

Oke-Mountain said he would leverage his experience to bring rare transformation and prosperity to Ogbomoso North State Constituency and Oyo State at large.

“I cannot hide my joy anymore as we continue to move closer to representation. This nomination form is a final seal to represent our dear constituency and bring about a positive transformation from 2027. It is a reflection of every ADC member’s input. We will fulfil our political pledges if elected in 2027,” he said.

He appreciated the state chairman of the party, Mr. Yinka Olona, leaders and other party faithful for their support and cooperation, pledging transparent leadership, if elected.

The candidate, who promised fully-funded scholarships for children and youths in both formal and informal education, as well as empowerment for women and the aged, urged members and supporters to mobilize ahead of the general election for the actualization of his democratic representation.
