The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has directed all its branches nationwide to end church services by 8:00pm.

The Church leadership also suspended allvigils and overnight programmes until further notice, citing rising security concerns in the country.

According to an internal memo dated June 5, 2026, and signed by the Director of Administration, Temitope Olawale, it stated that the decision was taken in the interest of members’ safety amid ongoing insecurity challenges.

The church stated that all services, meetings, and departmental activities should henceforth, conclude by 8:00pm with strict compliance required across all levels of the ministry.

It further explained that where necessary, vigils may be converted to evening prayer programmes but must still end by 8:00 in the evening.

“These measures are purely precautionary and are intended to safeguard the lives and well-being of our members in the face of the current security situation in the country,” the memo stated.

Meanwhile, MFM has instructed all ministers, groups, and departments to strictly adhere to the directive, which has been circulated to regional and branch leadership nationwide.
