Avant Garde congratulates Hon. Bernard for emerging Egbeda APC Consensus candidate ahead 2027 General Elections

A support group of the All Progressives Congress, Avant Garde, has congratulated Hon. Yemi Bernand for emerging a consensus Egbeda OYHA candidate of the party ahead of the 2027/General Elections.

The grassroots politician was announced as a consensus candidate following due consultations and unanimous decision of all the historic 14 aspirants in Egbeda State Constituency.

In a statement jointly signed by Chairman, Tayo Olatunji and Publicity Secretary of the group, Kabiru Isiaka, on Thursday, the group described the consensus candidate as” the appointed saviour ” of the Constituency from bad representation for an improved legislative democracy.

The group noted that the emergence is a lesson to young politician towards refreshening loyalty, commitment and focus in life and political endeavours.

The group, while promising to continue working for the progress of the entire party, urged the aspiring lawmaker to strengthen inclusivity, unity, conscientious leadership and improved democratic delivery to all the party members, leaders, all support groups and entire constituents for a lasting legacy.

Meanwhile, the group commended the leaders and aspirants for reaching a rancour free consensus, describing them a ” life line” of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda, calling members of the party to rally support for the consensus candidate for a historic victory in the forthcoming general elections.
