A leading Gubernatorial Aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Chief Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has reiterated his purpose to strengthen education sector for a better generation.
He stated this at a press briefing on Sunday, saying his administration when fully established by May 29, 2027 will hail talents from the grassroots, and as well give due support to the vulnerable and less privileged.

He highlighted plans to commence “Welcome Back to School Initiative” on Tuesday 28th April, 2026 across the seven geo-political zones of the state as dividends of 2025/26 Third Term Resumption for primary school pupils.
The respected grassroots politician noted that he hoped to support over two hundred most vulnerable pupils across the state with school uniforms, socks, sandals and other educational items, adding that the initiative is another democratic strategy at continuously reducing out-of-school children syndrome already in tackling by the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
The politician who said his initiative is in partnership with “Catch Them Young Campaign Initiative” in the State, will enable the democratic dividends trickle down the government funded primary schools across the state.

In Ibadan Zones, the first phase will affect ten carefully identified primary schools including Ode Aje Primary School, Kumapayi Primary School, Olodo, IDC Primary School, Odo-Ona, L.A Special School, Gate, St. Luke’s Demonstration Basic School, Molete, Ibadan, among others.
Meanwhile, Chief Oguntoyinbo announced plans to extend the initiative to other zones of the state in the coming weeks.
