The Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) has impounded ten, (10 ) motorcycles and arrested offenders during a targeted enforcement operation at Eleyele Market, as part of its statewide drive to clear illegal street trading and restore order on public walkways.
Under the leadership of The OYLEA chairperson, Hon. Justice Aderonke Aderemi (Rtd.)
exercise dismantled several unauthorized roadside sheds and removed goods, motorcycles, and makeshift structures that had unlawfully occupied road shoulders and pedestrian walkways.

Officials said the encroachments obstruct human traffic and pose significant risks to public safety.
OYRLEA stated that the operation focused on traders and commercial riders who resisted compliance with existing regulations. Those arrested were taken into custody for further necessary action.

Reaffirming its commitment to sustained enforcement across key areas in the state, the Authority urged members of the public to comply with regulations and support efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all pedestrians.
