A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 Aspirant for Oyo State House of Assembly, Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin, has described the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja (Arusa 1), as an always relevant monarch, public administrator and elderstatesman.

In a congratulatory birthday statement issued by her Special Assistant on Media, Communications and Publicity, Olawale Kunle, and made available to newsmen on Friday, Hon. Olawoyin commended the resilience, humility, and grassroots development instincts of the respected monarch, saying these factors make him generationally relevant.

The State Auditor for Yari 774 Initiative for Asiwaju Representatives added that the monarch has greatly influenced the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large, noting that his unblemished reputation remains coveted by young Ibadan indigènes.

He commended the monarch for his humility, focus, dedication and commitment to positive development in and out of office, maintaining that his recent influence on the approval for construction of the Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road is another monumental contribution to infrastructural development in the South Western Region of the country.

While praying for long life, prosperity, wisdom, knowledge and sound health, the gender equality advocate urged Oba Rashidi Ladoja to maintain his good disposition for the betterment of Ibadanland, the Southwest and Nigeria as a whole.

“Happy Birthday, Kabiyesi. Kade pe Lori, ki bata pe lese; ki ileke o dokini. This 82nd year celebration looks like 40 in our sight. We pray for more good health for you, Baba mi. May you live longer,” the statement concluded.
