President Bola Tinubu has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their messages and prayers on the occasion of his 74th birthday, saying he is filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to serve the nation.
In a statement signed by Special Adviser on Commuications and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Sunday Tinubu commended the citizens for their patriotism, solidarity, and support for his administration, acknowledging those who took space in newspapers or paid for airtime on radio and television to wish him well.
The President also credited his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and Vice President, Kashim Shettima for their kind words.
Tinubu noted that despite challenges, sacrifices have not been in vain, with a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. He narrowed the positive outcomes to collective efforts, emphasizing that “we achieved the gains together”.
Marking his birthday in a low-key manner, Tinubu reaffirmed his determination to building a brighter future for Nigerians, saying “with your continued support, we shall overcome”.
He urged citizens to work together to build a stronger, prosperous, and resilient nation, making Nigeria the pride of Africa.
