Egbeda APC swears in ward, local executives

Following the directives of Chief Moses Adeyemo led APC State Executive to party’s local chairmen to inaugurate its local and ward executives, the harmonized local and 11 wards executive in Egbeda Local Government have been sworn in.

The swearing in ceremony took place at the Iwo Road Party House on Monday.

The event presided by the Party Chairman, Comrade Olawale Olaleye, gathered all the harmoniously produced ward and local executives, with key stakeholders.

Speaking with newsmen after the ceremony, a chieftain of the Party, who is also the appointed Renewed Hope Ambassador in Egbeda Local Government,  Hon. Biliaminu Ogundele noted that the swearing in took place after the unanimous decision of the stakeholders on the consensus candidates, saying the essence was to galvanize grassroots strength ahead of the forthcoming election across the eleven wards of the council for a victorious outing.

He explained that the arrangement  earlier ensued chaos, but later was considered the best option, saying the arrangement positioned the members for unity, harmony, progress and peace – a necessary ingredient for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all emerging candidates on the platform of the party in the 2027 General Elections and beyond.

The chairman of newly sworn in Ward Chairmen in Egbeda Local Government area, Hon. Surajudeen Busari described the ceremony as a call to renewed service and strength for the party across the grassroots for a due democratic development.

In his brief remark, Hon. Saheed Alli, who is a special assistant to Oyo Central Senator, Dr. Yunus Akintunde commended the transformation of maturity within the All Progressives Congress, assuring Nigerians of an improved democratic governance in the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Earlier, the Egbeda APC Party, Comrade Olawale Olaleye appreciated the support of the leaders and members of the party for the return of his leadership for the second term, promising continued all inclusive administration.

Olaleye called the newly sworn in ward chairmen and local executives to remain law abiding, dutiful, dedicated and focused, saying this will enable the party grip its hold and deliver victoriously in the 2027 General Elections.

Recall, the ward, local and state congresses of the All Progressives Congress in 2026 have been adjudged harmoniously arranged in the party’s historical antecedents as it comnoted unity, peace and inclusiveness.

Present at the ceremony included Baba Suara Legbeda, Hon. Ibrahim Bolomope, Hon. Murewa Adeboje, Director General of Akin Alabi Campaign Organization, Hon. Debo Amoo, Avant Garde Support Group, among others.
