Humanitarian Ministry Condoles Borno Over Maiduguri Blast

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has expressed deep sorrow over the recent bomb blast in Maiduguri, Borno State, that claimed lives and injured many.

In a statement signed by Director, Information and Public Relations, Janet McDickson, on Thursday,the Ministry extended condolences to the Government and people of Borno State, particularly families of the victims.

Honourable Minister, Dr. Bernard M. Doro, described the incident as “deeply distressing” while Minister of State, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, urged Nigerians to remain united and resilient.

The Ministry prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and called for continued peace and national unity.
