The Oyo State Chapter of the Yari 774 Initiative for Asiwaju Representatives has met with the state executives of the All Progressives Congress, assuring them of its readiness to foster peace, unity, and harmony among members ahead of the 2027 General Elections for a historic victory across board.

The meeting took place at the APC Secretariat, Oke Ado, Ibadan on Monday.

Speaking, the State Coordinator, Hon. Bukola Oladunni, said the team was concerned about achieving a historic victory in the forthcoming general elections. She enjoined all members to support the historic reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other candidates across the country.

Also speaking, Oyo Senatorial Coordinator, Alh. (Mogaji) Rafiu Akinyemi; Oyo South Senatorial Coordinator, Hon. (Catechist) John Ige; and the State Auditor of the Initiative, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin, while boasting of the Initiative’s structure across the state, emphasized the need for unshakable harmony among party members. They urged leaders across the thirty-three local government areas of the state to join forces in reconciling aggrieved members ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

In his reaction, the Chairman of the Oyo State All Progressives Congress, Chief Moses Alake, commended the exploits of the Initiative since its inauguration and assured the group of full support for a successful mission.

“APC is a great party and family. We are assuring you of our total backing from here to all our local government, zonal, and unit structures. Hold my word. We shall all work together for a historic victory in 2027,” he said.

He urged all candidates in the state to harmonize their campaign councils with the Initiative for formidability ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

The meeting featured the delivery of a letter from the National Chairman/Convener of Yari 774, Abuja FCT, to the APC State Secretary, Hon. Fatai Adesina.
