President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election in Osun State, saying the victory underscores Nigeria’s growing democratic maturity.

In a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy), Tinubu described Adeleke’s win as “a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in our country under the All Progressives Congress administration.”

The President urged Adeleke to unite Osun residents for growth and progress, “regardless of the political choices they made at the election.” He also lauded other election contestants for their “courage and discipline” in deepening Nigeria’s democracy.

Tinubu commended INEC and security agencies for a peaceful, transparent election.
