Following Alli’s recent declaration and the purchase of his expression of interest and nomination forms.

An aspirant for the Oyo East Local Government Area/Oyo West Local Government Area State House of Assembly, Hon Abiodun Ayobami Kamal Ajeigbe, has declared support for Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, describing him as the right candidate to drive real development in Oyo State.

Hon Ajeigbe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, said Alli’s experience in governance and strong grassroots connection make him well-suited to lead the state at a time when effective leadership is required.

He noted that Alli’s previous roles as Secretary to the State Government and Chief of Staff, as well as his current position as Senator representing Oyo South, have provided him with a solid understanding of government operations and policy implementation.

According to him, the governorship of Oyo State demands a leader who understands the political terrain and can work seamlessly with stakeholders across all levels.

“Senator Alli has spent decades building relationships and political networks across the state. That experience cannot be overlooked when considering who should lead Oyo forward,” Ajeigbe said.

He further stated that Alli’s electoral record strengthens his credibility, noting that he is not known for electoral losses and has consistently shown the capacity to win when given the opportunity.

Ajeigbe added that the political reality in Oyo State requires a blend of grassroots strength and administrative competence, stressing that Alli embodies both qualities.

He called on party members and stakeholders to support the senator’s aspiration, expressing confidence that his leadership would bring stability and meaningful development to the state.

Ajeigbe concluded that Alli remains the most viable option for the governorship, noting that his candidacy represents a clear path toward sustainable progress in Oyo State.
