A leading APC aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Egbeda State Constituency in the 2027 General Elections, Hon. Temitope Olawoyin has empathized with the affected residents of Ibadan Circular Roads Corridor, urging prompt government support.

In a message made available by a Special Assistant on media, Communications and Publicity, Olawale Kunle on Thursday, the aspiring lawmaker extended her sympathies to the affected residents.

She expressed her displeasure as the affected residents revealed that only about 204 out of over 2000 affected persons by the Ibadan focused road project were compensated despite four tranche of compensation payment by the present administration in Oyo State.

The Public Administration expert who described the affected residents as victims of positive change, urged the Seyi Makinde led government to investigate the compensation process by the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Renewal for public trust.

The equality advocate believed the development project is necessary in the state, predicting improved socio-economic expansion when completed. However, she expressed concern as the affected are yet to be duly compensated.

” Government owes the citizens development. Where it will affect the citizens, a concerned government provides due relief. That is the tradition globally “, she said.

The aspirant who targets total democratic plans and policies for youths, women and elderly at election, called the present administration to rise to support the affected.

The APC chieftain advised the affected residents to remain calm, and peaceful in their quest to demanding government support, calling well meaning Nigerians and policy makers to make people centred policies and support for equal, and peaceful society.

Meanwhile, Hon. Olawoyin who called the affected residents to present genuine document for compensation claimant, assured of delivering a renewed hope and relief mandate if elected in 2027.
